POLOWKANE – The three men arrested in connection with the murder of Evans Mashia were granted bail by the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court last week.
The three accused, of which one is a teenager, were arrested earlier this month at different locations around Mankweng following intensive investigations by police in Polokwane.

Mashia’s body was found under a tyre in the streambed along Landdros Mare and Suid Street on 11 September, with a wound on the left side of his body.

Police Spokesperson, Constable Maphure Manamela confirmed to Review that the three men appeared in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on 8 October and were each granted bail of R500.
“The matter has been postponed to 6 December for further investigations to take place,” she concluded.
