LIMPOPO- A 34-year-old wanted man has been arrested by the Groblersdal Cluster Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit on charges of murder, attempted murder, two kidnappings and two rape incidents.
This, after he was discharged from hospital due to injuries sustained from a mob attack over the alleged attempted murder, kidnapping and rape of a 7-year-old girl between 30 September and 1 October in Nebo.
Police Spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe says the man had been on the run after the body of two-year-old, Samson Sithole, was found in the bushes near Koteng Village in the Marble Hall policing area.

“Following his arrest, he appeared before the Groblersdal Magistrate Court on 3 October 2019 for kidnapping, rape and murder. The cases were postponed to Monday, 7 October 2019, for further bail application and police investigations,” Ngoepe explained.
“At this stage, he is linked to cases of murder, attempted murder, kidnapping and rape but he might be linked to other cases that will be determined through ongoing profiling,” Ngoepe concluded.
