Rakgoale says the unrest has led to vandalism of their offices, office equipment and files of clients who are being serviced at the centre.

“I’m calling on communities to exercise their right to protest in a responsible manner and refrain from acts of violence. We are calling on the police to intensify their investigations and ensure that people who are responsible for the acts of violence are brought to book, as tax payer’s money is going to be used to repair the same infrastructure.”

Tiva concluded by saying police investigations are already underway to establish the extent of the damage caused.
