[UPDATE] Teenager among three arrested in connection with body found near Suid Street

The trio were denied bail by the Polokwane Magistrate's Court.

POLOKWANE – Following intensive investigations by police in Polokwane, three suspects were arrested at different locations around Mankweng, in connection with the murder of the 33-year-old man on 11 September.

The body of Evans Mashia was found under a tyre in the streambed along Landdros Mare and Suid Street.

Police Spokesperson, Constable Maphure Manamela confirmed to Review that the three men, aged 18, 20 an 21-years-old, appeared before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on 20 September and were denied bail.

“The case was postponed to 8 October for further bail application and police investigations,” she concluded.
