#WFD – Extra-Creamy Pasta with Chicken, Cheese and Corn

For a less creamy version of this recipe replace the cream with 100 ml low fat milk and 100 ml cream

POLOKWANE – The beauty about pasta dishes is that you can add different ingredients and it’ll still taste good.

This recipe, provided by What’s for Dinner, combines chicken, cheese and corn and you can add whichever pasta you prefer.

Ingredients

  1. 400g chicken breasts, sliced
  2. 15ml oil
  3. 4 spring onions, sliced
  4. 1 x KNORR Tuna Mate Cheddamelt
  5. 600ml water
  6. 200ml cream
  7. 410g tin whole kernel corn, drained
  8. 20ml fresh coriander, chopped

Method

  1. Using a non-stick frying pan, brown chicken in oil for about 3-4 min.
  2. Add spring onions and fry for another minute.
  3. Add sachet of seasoning sauce blend, water and cream to the pan together with the uncooked pasta (contained within the box of KNORR Tuna Mate Cheddar-Melt).
  4. Stir in the corn and coriander.
  5. Bring to the boil, stirring occasionally, and reduce heat.
  6. Allow to simmer uncovered for 10 min or until the pasta is cooked.
  7. For a less creamy version of this recipe replace the cream with 100 ml low fat milk and 100 ml cream
