UPDATE: [VIDEO] N1 road closure: Two dead as 2 trucks and 8 cars collide
POLOKWANE – Motorists are advised to use alternative routes, such as the R101 as there is a full road closure on the N1. According to Bakwena Platinum, diversions southbound via Wallmansthal onto the R101 are in place. For motorists travelling north, using the N4 Doornpoort and using the Wonderboom onramp on to the R101 has been suggested.

Both directions have been closed due to a collision and a veld fire.
Traffic Policing Affairs Limpopo reports that recovery is in progress and that emergency services are on scene.
