Learners celebrate their academic successes and heritage

Poguti-Maribulla Primary School in Ngwanalaka, in Ga-Mothiba ended off the school term with Heritage Day celebrations.

LIMPOPO – During the celebration on 19 September the learners as well as their educators performed various traditional dances much to the delight of the audience.

Some of the performances during the ceremony includeds; serobalela, gumboots, poetry, praise poetry, drama, kulenyane, tsonga dance, dinaka, kofifi dance, and hip hop performances, just to mention a few.

During the celebration, learners also received awards for academic performance for both term one and two.

Teach at the school, Annah Mamabolo said she was very proud of the learners who were awarded for their good work and added that this annual celebration gives the learners the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of their fellow peers, friends and family.
