Muni: 2 reservoirs in city empty due to leakages on the Ebenezer line

The municipality will provide temporary relief measures through water tankers

POLOKWANE – Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) has just now issued a notice that they have identified three leakages along the Ebenezer pipeline, says Thipa Selala, spokesperson for the Polokwane Municipality.

“LNW have indicated that they are “gathering materials to start repairs on 1 October”. These repairs would result in a complete stoppage for more or less seven hours,” he adds.

The city is currently experiencing water shortages in most supply areas. Water issues can be reported to the call centre at 015 290 2376 / 2629.

POLOKWANE – Reservoir levels in the city are under strain due to not enough water being pumped from the Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) plants.

Two reservoirs are currently empty, says Spokesperson for the Polokwane Municipality, Thipa Selala.

The municipality will provide temporary relief measures through water tankers, to all the affected areas until reservoir levels are full.
