In a media release issued on behalf of Sanral, it is warned that there are tell-tale signs that the public can look for to establish whether they are dealing with Sanral or not.
“Sanral will never use a Gmail account or a .net account for official business.

“Sanral’s internet domain is nra.co.za,” Vusi Mona, Communications General Manager of Sanral is quoted to have said.
“Take note that Sanral does not charge any fee for tenders or quotations and the public is urged to contact Sanral on 012 844 8000 to verify any requests purporting to be from Sanral where payment is requested,” the statement concluded.
