Fans of Roan Ash were not intimidated by a very cold evening in the overflow parking area of Mall of the North when they arrived in their numbers to enjoy an evening of fun and music on Saturday.
Special guests were seated along two long tables and after receiving a welcome drink and small gifts from Mall of the North management, tables with an abundant supply of snacks were at their disposal. A variety of stalls offered more to eat and drink and the visitors could make use of a cash bar for something to mitigate the weather.
Roan Ash really emerged in the entertainment world in 2015 when he managed to release an album titled The Traveler although it did not have as much success. Later, in 2016, he joined season 1 of the Voice SA where he managed to increase his national presence. All this hard work culminated in the release of his proper studio album in 2018. Looking at Whiskey to My Soul lyrics and If I Ever Saw Heaven’s lyrics, it is clear that Ash is now on his way to success.
Mall of the North Marketing Manager, Mari Delport said that the great turnout for the event despite the challenging weather conditions has shown that there is a demand for events where guests can relax in the open and enjoy entertainment.
