Knocking on Spring’s door by giving back to the community

The Knock Knock Spring Black Edition event which was hosted at the Phela Chisanyama and Carwash in Mankweng on Saturday, 31 August aimed to provide locals with affordable and accessible entertainment.

POLOKWANE – One of the organisers, Antonio Masekela told Review they saw a larger number of people than any other year. “Instead of a pre-party, we decided to host a charity event the day before,” Antonio said. They donated sanitary pads to one of the schools in Ga-Mothapo, Phuthi Primary School.

Masekela thanked their sponsors: Global Oil SA, Star Sign and Print, Mabalane a Seven, Motionsense HD, Radio Turf, Phela Car Wash and Chesanyama, Empower Positivity Organisation, Huna Mbhuzi Tshena and his teammates, Mexican Boys.

“People loved the performance and most of them said they can’t wait for next year’s edition. We have been hosting this event for the past four years and we are planning on doing it in years to come. Each year we get greater support and we are learning valuable lessons which we believe will help us reach even the greatest of stages in the near future,” he added.
