CDM to host imbizo at Lepelle Nkumpi Municipality

Capricorn District Municipality is scheduled to host an imbizo or outreach in Lepelle Nkumpi Municipality next Wednesday in an effort to allow the local populace to engage with its leaders on issues related to service delivery.
The event will take place at Maditsi High School in Ga-Ledwaba and will start at 10:30.
Executive Mayor John Mpe and Lepelle Nkumpi Mayor Meriam Molala will lead the delegation and the interface. Communities will also be given a platform to raise issues of concern and challenges.
CDM Media Liaison Officer Moffat Senyatsi said that the imbizo is part of the systems geared at bringing council closer to the people and to listen to their service delivery and governance concerns. “It is also about giving them timely feedback throughout the service delivery cycle,” Senyatsi said.
