[LISTEN] R71 Magoebaskloof road closed as fire reignites

POLOKWANE – Spokesperson for the MEC of Transport, Joel Seabi says the fire which caused the R71 to close yesterday, has reignited.

On Tuesday morning, a truck caught fire after it overturned along the R71 road near Haenertsburg which caused vegetation to catch fire. The smoke then led to unsafe road conditions.

Motorists are urged to use alternative routes travelling to and from Tzaneen.
