Temperatures to only peak at 27 degrees in Polokwane this week

The South African Weather Service has forecast thunderstorms and "slight rain" for both Friday and Saturday, respectively

POLOKWANE – You might not want to pack away those winter warmers just yet and spring has come with a slight variation in temperature.

According to the South African Weather Service’s forecast, cooler conditions are expected for this week with temperatures only peaking at 27 degrees.

Temperatures are expected to drop over the weekend, cooling down to 21 and 23 degrees on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

While sunny conditions are expected for the rest of the week, thunderstorms and slight rain have been forecast for Friday and Saturday respectively, however, those conditions could change.

Minimum temperatures will peak at 11 degrees this week and cool down to six degrees on Saturday.

People’s Weather’s forecast also suggests cooler temperatures for the week, however, theirs peaks at 29 degrees on Wednesday and cools down to just 17 degrees on Friday.

Their forecast suggests that partly cloudy conditions are expected for most of the week with sunny conditions in between.
