Second vehicle crash at Polokwane family’s home in a week

The incident happened a week after another driver crashed into a tree on the pavement outside their home, and the vehicle burst into flames.

POLOKWANE -The Wolmarans family has had yet another eventful weekend after yet another vehicle incident happened right in front of their house in Thabo Mbeki Street at around 16:30 on Sunday afternoon.

“The vehicle came down Thabo Mbeki Street and straight into our wall. I heard a noise and then my mother informed me that a car had gone through the wall. I couldn’t believe it because just over a week ago we had another vehicle crash and it burst into flames right outside our family home,” Elmara Wolmarans said.

She added that her family is just happy that no one got seriously injured.

According to eyewitnesses on the scene, the driver of vehicle fled the scene after the incident. The police arrived on the scene and eventually found the man a few metres down the road. He was taken to the police station.
