POLOKWANE -Principal, Masekela Joseph Ntsiene says he hopes for a 90%+ pass rate and at least 50%+ of the learners to obtain a bachelor exemption.
He outlined a few methods which were at the beginning of the year put in place.
• He says Saturday classes were implemented from the beginning of the year and afternoon lessons are given after school until 19:00.
• Holiday classes are also hosted New horizon school’s boarding facilities.
• The school implemented Math Days where only math is taught and physical science Saturdays every other weekend, where the focus is only on physical science.
• Meetings are held with teachers to analyse results and to highlight focus areas and quarterly results are presented to the parents for intervention.
He says he is quite confident the school will reach his targets because of the committed teachers.
