POLOKWANE – The Municipality says they are aware of water challenges in various areas of the city, stating that this is due to the Potgieter Reservoir running low.
As a result, the Central Business District (CBD), Ladanna, Extensions 29, 40, 44 and Luthuli Park have been affected. Water tankers will be deployed to affected areas as a temporary relief measure.
“Normal water supply will be restored once the reservoir levels improve,” Municipal Spokesperson, Thipa Selala, told Review.
In the meantime, areas receiving water are urged to use water sparingly.
