#WFD – Crunchy Oven-Baked Chicken Drumsticks

Challenge your inner KFC or Chicken Licken with this dish.

POLOKWANE – Fried Chicken is delicious, but as much as it is tasty, it is most likely to stay on your hips.

What’s for Dinner makes a similar recipe with their Crunchy Oven-Baked Chicken Drumsticks.

Ingredients

  1. 100g wheat breadcrumbs, whole
  2. 1 x KNORR Roasted Vegetables Veggie Bake
  3. 8 chicken pieces
  4. 100ml low fat milk
  5. 125g margarine
  6. 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  7. 5ml salt

Method

  1. Mix breadcrumbs, KNORR Roasted Vegetable Bake and seasoning in a bowl.
  2. Dip chicken pieces into milk and then into the breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Place on a greased baking tray.
  4. Melt margarine with garlic and pour over the chicken.
  5. Place tray in the oven and bake at 200°C for about 1 hour.
