POLOKWANE – Police Spokesperson, Const Maphure Manamela says the woman’s body was found on 3 August by residents, who alerted the police.
The woman is believed to be in her twenties. She was wearing a maroon shirt, grey legging and black tekkies. She was found with her hands tied behind her back with a string. Another string was found around her neck which indicates that she may have been strangled. Police investigations are ongoing.
The police appeal to anyone with information that can lead to the apprehension of the suspect(s) or anyone whose family member might have gone missing, to contact Sgt Gabriel Masedi at 079 475 3990. Alternatively contact the crime stop number at 0860 010 111 or the nearest police station.
