POLOKWANE – Constable Maphure Manamela has urged residents to not panic as it is simply routine and it does not mean there is a specific crime happening in the area. She says the police are currently visiting business and residences just to ensure that there is no criminal activities that are taking place. Residents are asked to co-operate with police in this matter as it is for the safety of the community. She further urged residents to report any criminal activities that are taking place in the area, and should they wish, do so anonymously.
The men in blue have been spotted this morning along Bendor Drive, with the different crime prevention units present including a SAPS helicopter surveying the area from above.
