[JUST IN] Bendor residents tied up during armed robbery

According to a statement by the Chairman of Sector 2, Community Policing Forum (CPF), Johan Retters, the safe was broken out of the wall and the home trashed by the suspects. 

POLOKWANE – Residents of a home in Bendor were tied up for more than two hours during an armed robbery this afternoon, 6 August.

CPF Sector 2’s Chair, Johan Retters says the residents were held at gunpoint while the suspects ransacked the home looking for guns and money.

“A firearm, jewellery and other household items were stolen. The safe was broken out of the wall and the house was trashed by the suspects,” Retters’ statement reads.

The number of suspects is unknown and Review is currently awaiting police confirmation.
