MOKOPANE – This after over 800 protesters gathered at the Home Affairs Office in Rabe Street from there marching to the Mogalakwena Municipality, ending at the Mokopane Police Station.

This march was reportedly driven by residents following the murder of two ANC members, Vaaltyn Kekana and Ralph Kanyane, last week.
It is believed tomorrow’s march will proceed as planned.
The Mogalakwena Municipality has since released a press statement distancing itself from the shutdown protest march organised in town for Friday, 2 August. They urged residents to avoid the affected areas.
