The initiative Bags of Hope, organised by Milestone Events and Training, in conjunction with BONUS and Oosskool, has a solution…
The event will take place on Friday, 6 September and residents are encouraged to bring their bags of clothes, cleaning material, toiletries, linen, toys and non-perishable food to the school’s rugbyfield between 08:00 and 15:00.
Supporters of this initiative are welcome to put up a banner or flag on the day.
“Registered charity organisations can send a wish list and motivation, along with proof of registration to dia@mweb.co.za before 30 August,” Dia van Staden, organiser of the event.
So, start your spring cleaning early this year and remember to donate all your unwanted items to Bags of Hope.
