Local Sauces Guru’s recipe’s a winner

Entrepreneur, Lesiba Tsebe believes small businesses are the solution to unemployment.

POLOKWANE – Better known as The Sauces Guru, the 23-year-old entrepreneur from Moletjie outside Polokwane, is the founder of ThatoYaTatso sauces.

The young entrepreneur produces mild chilli and spitfire (hot) sauces, and his aim is to expand.

Tsebe told CV he started producing his homemade sauces last month.

“The reason behind my business was to create generational wealth for my family and to create employment for young people in my community.”

He said job scarcity in Mzansi should not be an obstacle to achieving one’s goals.

“We live in a country of many opportunities which needs our attention as the youth.

“Small businesses are the country’s economic pillars and should be supported by government.”

In terms of his offering, he says other flavours such as lemon and herb, and sweet chilli are in the pipeline.

He aims to have his products on shop shelves soon.

“Seeing my products being sold in supermarkets, butcheries and chisanyamas is my dream. I’ve learnt that business needs patience, dedication and hard work and that should be a lesson for upcoming entrepreneurs.”

Tsebe also dreams of running his own factory in Polokwane.

“Achieving that will see me creating several job opportunities for young people,” said Tsebe.
