Woman (37) killed in armed robbery in Musina

LIMPOPO – Police in Musina are hot on the heels of a group of armed suspects who fled a house robbery and murder scene in a Ford Focus and a BMW in the early hours of Wednesday, 17 July.

This, after a 37-year-old woman, was certified dead on arrival at a hospital in Musina, having been shot by the robbers.

Police Spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe reported that robbers pounced on a couple at a house in Musina. Upon arrival, police found a vehicle in the middle of the road with the windscreen covered in bullet holes.

“Preliminary investigations suggest that two people were shot and taken to the hospital for medical treatment. The 37-year-old woman was certified dead on arrival.”

He confirmed that no arrests have been made yet.
