Olifantspoort Plant stopped for emergency repairs

Repairs on burst pipe at Olifantspoort Plant to take around 3 hours

POLOKWANE  -In a statement, the POlokwane Municpality, says the stoppage is due to a pipe burst along the Specon line.

“Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) has just stopped Olifantspoort plant leaving all areas of supply affected. The estimated time for repairs is 2 to 3 hours,” the stated.

Residents are reminded that once repairs are done it will take time before water supply reaches the affected areas and the municipality urges the public to use water sparingly during this downtime.
