Operation Swara Tsotsi – together we will make Limpopo a province of choice
MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Namane Dickson Masemola addressed the men and women in blue on Friday morning, 28 June and said that together they will reclaim the communities and eradicate crime from the province.
POLOKWANE – The ‘crime fighting machine’ Operation Swara Tsotsi will be carried out through the province with various sub-operations that will be aimed at fighting crime and ensuring criminals are brought to book. It was launched by Masemola together with the Acting Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Major General Jan Scheepers, in the city this morning.

“Our people are living in fear and it is our given responsibility to provide safety and security to all citizens of the province.”

“We will come to your communities, villages and townships and reclaim the social spaces that have been lost to the people due to criminal activities. Criminals must know that their days are numbered,” said Masemola.
