MEC to attend mass funeral for six people who died in R579 collision

Amoung the six who died was a two month old baby

LIMPOPO – Six people who died in a collision along the R579, will be buried on 29 June in Ga-Phaahla

Namane Dickson Masemola, MEC for Transport and Community Safety together with the Mayor of Makhuduthamaga Municipality,
Cllr Minah Bahula and other dignitaries will tomorrow attend the mass funeral for six people who died in a head-on collision on the R579 road next to Mogorwane/Ga-Moloi, this past weekend.

It is reported that five people including the two month old baby, all from one vehicle, died when the two sedans collided head-on. The second driver sustained critical injuries and later succumbed to the injuries in hospital.

The funeral will take place on Saturday, 29 June Saturday at the Monatana Sports Ground in the Mamoshalele Section, Ga-Phaahla at 08:00.

This comes a week after the province buried the #Maphalle24 during a mass funeral service in Ga-Rapitsi.
