Muni: “It is estimated that water to all areas of supply will be restored in the afternoon”

The contractor is busy with the final tie-ins, stated the Polokwane Municipality on Saturday

POLOKWANE – In a statement released, the Polokwane Municipality says the the contractor could not finished the planned maintenance on Friday.

“The contractor could not finish, on the estimated time yesterday, the activity to connect a pressure reducing valve linked to asbestos cement (AC) pipes replacement in the area. The municipality in the meantime is deploying water tankers to all areas that are experiencing water shortages due to the water supply shutdown at corner Munnik Avenue and Grobler Street.”

It is estimated that water to all areas of supply will be restored in the afternoon as the contractor is busy with the final tie-ins, they add.
