LIMPOPO – This after the road near the Solomondale turn-off was closed earlier this morning due to a multi-vehicle accident.

LIMPOPO – According to a statement issued by the Spokesperson for the Department of Transport, Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala the N1 North next to the Solomondale turn-off was temporarily closed earlier this morning due to an multi-vehicle accident involving a heavy motor vehicle.
“There are no fatalities reported as yet, however the truck is blocking the road.”
Moremi-Taueatsoala has confirmed that traffic officers have been deployed to divert traffic, but motorists are advised to use the R81 as an alternative route.
One lane is reportedly now open and traffic is moving slowly.
