Have a Cuppa and splash out for Cansa

A Cuppa for Cancer, or Cuppa as it is informally called, is a social gathering where friends, family and work colleagues can come together and raise money for those affected by cancer.

POLOKWANE – The event can be large, small or intimate (be it for a group of friends, a church group , a book club or any club). People can hold a Cuppa in their homes, at the zoo, in gardens, in parks, on top of mountains, on boats, at country clubs, in church halls, community halls or even hotels, the possibilities are endless.

The Cuppa for CANSA concept can be adapted and allows for some wonderful new and imaginative ideas to be shared. You can opt for a casual Cuppa, or add a quirky and fun theme to your event to add some flavour to the charity get together for a good cause.

This year the cup in Cuppa is a trendy mug that can also be bought in a set of four or a single mug.

On Friday morning, Cansa Polokwane launched the new Cuppa-season for 2019/2020. This was celebrated by a tea party in the gardens of the Cansa offices where staff as well as invited guests had the opportunity to get together over scones and tea and pass around ideas on hosting a Cuppa.

Should you want to host a Cuppa, simply get in touch with Christopher Combrink, community mobiliser at Cansa at (015) 297 1268.

“Anyone can host a Cuppa, at any time. The centre will also be hosting another not-to-be-missed Cuppa,” says Christopher.
