#WFD- Sticky Chicken Wings with Blue Cheese Sauce

Stir in the blue cheese until melted and serve with the hot and sticky chicken wings.

POLOKWANE – After Easter festivities, all you need to do on Family Day is relax and enjoy the day with family.

No one would want to slave away in the kitchen and therefore, you need a quick and easy recipe for dinner tonight.

These sticky wings by What’s for Dinner are sure to be a hit with your family.

Ingredients

  1. 12 x chicken wings
  2. 60ml golden syrup
  3. 10ml tabasco sauce
  4. 2 x cloves garlic, crushed
  5. 5ml Robertsons Cumin
  6. 1 x pinch Robertsons Cayenne Pepper
  7. 1 x KNORR Classic White Sauce
  8. 50g blue cheese, crumbled

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Using a sharp knife cut off the tip of each chicken wing and place in a shallow bowl.
  3. Combine the golden syrup, Tabasco sauce, crushed garlic, Robertsons Cumin and Robertsons Cayenne Pepper in a bowl and pour over the chicken wings.
  4. Cover the wings with plastic wrap and allow to marinate in the fridge for at least one hour.
  5. Place chicken wings in a baking tray and bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until the chicken is golden.
  6. To make the blue cheese sauce combine sachet of KNORR Classic White Sauce with 250 ml boiling water and stir until well mixed.
  7. Stir in the blue cheese until melted and serve with the hot and sticky chicken wings.
