[TAKE NOTE] 18 hour planned maintenance to affect water supply in Polokwane on 5 June

Lepelle Northern Water says it will do everything in its powers to keep reservoirs with sufficient water for the period leading to the date of the activity.

POLOKWANE – The Municipality, in a statement released, says they have received a report from Lepelle Northern Water regarding planned maintenance to clean the forebays and the Specon command reservoir on Wednesday, 05 June 2019.

Municipal spokesperson, Thipa Selala says the water board stated the process is scheduled to start from 00:00 to 18:00 on Wednesday.

“All areas of supply will be affected. Lepelle Northern Water says it will do everything in its powers to keep reservoirs with sufficient water for the period leading to the date of the activity. In the meantime, the Polokwane Municipality is urging all to use water sparingly and responsibly,” he concluded.
