Seven people in Malamulele treated for suspected food poisining

Health experts from Malamulele Hospital were dispatched to investigate the matter.

LIMPOPO – Seven people from Xigamani Village, outside Malamulele have been treated and discharged from Malamulele Hospital following a suspected case of food poisoning.

Departmental spokesperson, Neil Shikwambana says all seven people, who are believed to be village gravediggers, were complaining of abdominal pains after sharing a meal earlier today.

“Health experts from Malamulele Hospital were dispatched to investigate the matter. Once again, the department wishes to advise people to take full heed of health safety measures when handling and preparing food,” he says.
