#WFD- Cheesy Mince & Sweetcorn Pasta Bake

This dish can be served with a crisp green salad and Italian bread.

POLOKWANE – If you’re stuck with something to make for dinner tonight and you have mince, sweetcorn and pasta in your cupboards, then this recipe is just for you.

Ingredients

  1. 1 x 420g tin cream style sweetcorn
  2. 15ml oil
  3. 650g mince
  4. 5ml garlic, crushed
  5. 1 x onion, chopped
  6. 750ml water
  7. 250ml milk
  8. 60ml stork margarine
  9. 2 x KNORR Sour Cream and Mushroom Pasta and Sauce
  10. 125ml cheddar cheese, grated
  11. crisp green salad and italian bread to serve

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C,
  2. Cook the KNORR Sour Cream & Mushroom Pasta & Sauce according to on-pack instructions, using the Stork margarine, milk and water.
  3. Fry the onion and mince together in heated cooking oil until mince is browned and onion soft.
  4. Stir in sweetcorn.
  5. Place prepared pasta & sauce in a greased ovenproof baking dish.
  6. Top with the mince mixture and then sprinkle with grated cheese.
  7. Bake at 180°C for 20-25 min until cheese has melted.
