Police have launched a manhunt for two suspects allegedly responsible for a house robbery and murder which took place at Mvudi Park outside Thohoyandou early Monday morning.
According to Provincial Police Spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe it is alleged that two suspects, armed with a firearm and knives, attacked the tenants who were sleeping in their rented rooms at the back of a privately owned house.
According to Ngoepe three women were stabbed in the process and one, aged 23, died instantly. The attackers who fled the scene got away with laptops, cell phones, clothes and other personal belongings of the victims.
The two other women were injured and are recuperating in a local hospital.
