Hoedspruit farm worker found lying in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds, manhunt launched

The 45-year-old man's colleagues went searching for him after he had followed up on information about potential poaching on the farm

LIMPOPO – A 45-year-old man was rushed to hospital after he was attacked on a farm by an unknown number of suspects, reports police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe.

While investigations into the attack continue, police in Hoedspruit have since launched a massive manhunt for the suspect(s).

Ngoepe says the man was on duty when he received information about people who planned to poach at the farm. He followed up and after a few hours, his colleagues contacted him but he was nowhere to be found.

“They searched for him on the farm and later found him lying in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds throughout his body. He was immediately taken to hospital for medical treatment,” he added.
