Elections results that continue coming through point at a marginal ruling party head start in Limpopo, with the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and Democratic Alliance (DA) the biggest contenders for crosses on ballot papers under count in the province thus far.
The Limpopo Results Operations Centre (Roc) at Peter Mokaba Stadium, from where party representatives are monitoring the outcome of figures reflecting both a national and provincial picture, remains a hive of activity.
Earlier this morning (Thursday) Electoral Commission (IEC) Limpopo spokesperson Motsiri Ramafalo indicated that capturing of votes by then had stood at less than 15%. He predicted that by the end of today or tomorrow morning they would be done capturing and reconciling ballots in the province.
