Limpopo police uncertain whether alleged Northam rapist is still in SA or in Zimbabwe

Preliminary investigations by Limpopo police have revealed that the suspect (Andrew Ndlovu) disguises himself as 'Andrea Druza' and might be hiding around Gauteng or in other provinces, however, police say it is unclear whether he is still in SA or whether he went back to Zimbabwe

MOKOPANE – Police in Thabazimbi continue their massive manhunt for a suspect involved in the rape and murder of a 59-year-old woman, Christine Robinson, who was the owner of a game lodge, outside Northam.

In a statement released, police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe explains that the 29-year-old man, originally from Zimbabwe, raped, robbed and killed the woman on 19 July 2014. “The suspect, who was an employee at the farm during the brutal attack, stabbed the deceased several times in her house, raped and robbed her before fleeing the scene. The deceased was discovered by her other employees, lying in a pool of blood the following morning,” he said.

Ngoepe says police were immediately summoned and a manhunt for the suspect has had no success, up to date.

“Police are calling upon Andrew Ndlovu, aka Andrea Druza, to go to the Northam police station or the nearest police station to assist with the investigations in this matter. Anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect involved in this matter may contact Captain Paromi Kgatla on 082 565 7939/014 777 3573; the crime stop number 08600 10111; the crime line SMS 32211 or the nearest police station,” Ngoepe’s statement concluded.
