POLOKWANE – A bag is a mystery as you’ll never know what is inside, until you open it. You might either find somebody’s household rubbish or treasures like clothes, shoes and even kitchenware. Or if you are lucky, the bag might be filled with hope.
Milestone Events and Training, in conjunction with BONUS and Laerskool Pietersburg-Oos challenge companies, schools, churches, families and individuals to take part in the first Bags of Hope. “We encourage people to gather items like non-perishable food, clothes, cleaning materials, toiletries, toys, linen and even furniture,” says Dia van Staden, organiser of the event.
“Bring these Bags with Hope to Oosskool’s rugby field on 6 September between 08:00 and 15:00. “Bring your company banner and show that you care about your community.”Oosskool’s kiosk will be open, so bring cash and support them.
