Take your marshmallow eggs to a new level with Review’s Easter Treat

POLOKWANE – This weekend is a time to spend with family and in the company of your loved ones, food might remain the center of it all. This includes mouthwatering desserts.

Review played around in the kitchen and came up with our very own three ingredient Easter Treat for you and the family to indulge in.

Ingredients:

• Marshmallow Easter eggs

• Nuts, chopped finely

• Puff Pastry dough

Method:

1. Set your oven to 180°.

2. Finely chop the nuts to a desired consistency.

 

3. Sprinkle your work place with flour.

4. Roll out the pastry and slightly thin it out with a rolling pin.

5. Divide the pastry, place a marshmallow egg on it and cover with nuts.

4. Cover the pastry with another piece and decorate the edges with a fork, piercing holes into the pastry

5. Before baking, crack an egg and cover the pastry parcel with egg-wash.

6. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

7. Sprinkle with icing sugar

Serve hot with a dash of cream and hot cup of your favourite drink.
