POLOKWANE – Ramphele decided to open the beauty bar to offer the community something unique. They have the fanciest of treatment and are highly recommended. Escada Beauty Bar has three permanent employees. The 31-year-old from Makotopong outside Polokwane, says her goal is to bring affordable luxury to people of Limpopo.

She holds a diploma in public relation and communication from the University of Johannesburg. She says PR taught her a lot about creating and managing a brand, managing different accounts of clients and she thought why not create and grow her own brand.
Ramphele says she has always loved makeup and used to experiment on her friends and siblings while growing up. “I am a young ambitious girl from the village, with a passion for beauty. I love looking beautiful, being pampered and getting treatment. I looked at how much I was spending on treatment and then decided to come up with opening the beauty bar in Polokwane. I saw a market for it,” said Ramphele.
She said her dream is to be a beauty queen in Polokwane, so when people talk about beauty, they talk about Escada Beauty Bar. “We promise our clients the latest trends and keeping up with the other cities. Massages reduce anxiety and ease depression. They are suited for anyone, young or old. A challenge I came across in this industry, was to create the brand so people could trust us as we are still growing. We try to create credibility in the services we offer,” she said.
