Police launch search for two missing women from Matlala

Phiyeha Pretty Morudu (36) was last seen on 7 March 2014 and Cathrine Pitsi Mojela (25) has been missing since 4 May 2018

POLOKWANE – Police in Matlala are appealing to the community to assist in their search for two separate reported missing persons.

Police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe says 36-year-old Phiyeha Pretty Morudu from Kgabo Park in Moletjie, was last seen on 7 March 2014 after allegedly leaving home without giving her family details of where she was going. She has not been seen since.

Police are also searching for Cathrine Pitsi Mojela (25) from Chloe Lekgorong village, who has been missing since 4 May 2018. Ngoepe says the victim also left home without telling anyone about where she was going.

“Anyone with information about the whereabouts of these two women may contact Warrant Officer Lesiba Mohale at 079 920 7419; the crime stop number 0860010111; the crime line SMS 32211 or the the nearest police station. A search operation for the two women is still underway,” he concluded.
