#JusticeforDrops – Polokwane family pleads for help solving Marothi Letsoalo’s murder

Police are investigating the murder of a 28-year-old Marothi Letsoalo from Polokwane, who was found dead at cnr Thabo Mbeki and Church Street on Sunday, 7 April.

POLOKWANE – On Sunday morning at around 02:30 a local motorist spotted the body of an unknown man lying on the ground at the cnr of Thabo Mbeki and Church Street and immediately notified the police, said Police Spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe.
“The police reacted and found that indeed the deceased had been stabbed several times throughout his body and he was without shoes.”

Ngoepe added that the suspects as well as the motive for the murder is still unknown and no arrests have been made as yet.

Sister of the deceased, Queen Letsoalo, confirmed to Review that they last saw the deceased on Saturday afternoon before he left to go out with his friends. “His friends and family are distraught and plead with the community to help find out what happened to Marothi,” she said.
