13 injured after taxi rolls at Landdros Maré, Pietersburg Street intersection

POLOKWANE – 13 people were injured after a taxi rolled earlier this morning at the Landdros Mare and Pietersburg Street intersection.

The taxi was travelling out of town in the direction of Louis Trichardt (Makaho).

According to eyewitnesses the taxi driver apparently lost control and drove into oncoming traffic, rolled and hit a pole.

13 people, all occupants from the taxi, sustained injuries. No other vehicle were involved.

Services are still on the scene.
