The Turkish Food festival that is scheduled to take place at the overflow parking area of Mall of the North from 26 to 28 April promises to be a culinary extravaganza for food connoisseurs.
The event will start at 11:00 on all three days and will end at 19:00 and food and drinks will be served under tents to create a festive atmosphere.
The venue is much bigger this year and judging from last years’ experience, a good turnout is expected.
Middle-Eastern delights such as Adana kebabs, doner rolling shawarmas, kumpir baked potatoes, baklava and naturally Turkish Delights will be on the menu while traditional Turkish tea and coffee will be a perfect round-off for an interesting tour of the stalls with something for everyone.
There will also be a kiddie’s zone to ensure a family friendly outing with much to learn about the Turkish culture.
Entrance is free and ample safe parking will be available.
