Curro Heuwelkruin learner and talented dancer, Jessica dos Ramos Abreu has over the past month achieved particular success in a number of dance competitions which she had entered.
Her talent was noticed by judges during these competitions who decided that she is worthy of being part of the South African team to tour to California, USA from 8 June to 24 July.
Jessica participated at the Tzaneen Eisteddfod on 16 March where she achieved silver in professional class Latin, bronze for professional class classic, bronze for professional class energy and silver for senior open hip-hop.
On 23 March she participated at the Solo Dance Latina-kompetisie in Mbombela and was awarded gold medals in senior advanced Latin and senior advanced energy.
Jessica also achieved silver in jive, samba and cha-cha during the South Africa Championship of Performing Arts (Sacopa) competition hosted in Rustenburg from 29 March to 6 April. During this competition she also won bronze in the open category.
