POLOKWANE – Eskom says there is a high risk of rotational loadshedding from 17:00 to 22:00 tonight, but that it will only be implemented if necessary.
In a statement released, the power utility says this is as a result of a shortage of capacity due to the loss of generating units at their power stations.
“The winter plan indicates that Eskom expects to implement 26 days of loadshedding during winter, depending on the level of unplanned breakdowns,” the statement read.
