Some 15 golfers from Hoërskool Pietersburg (PHS) and Hoër Tegniese Skool Tom Naudé (Tommies) engaged in the season’s first matches of the schools golf league at the Polokwane Golf Club on Thursday.
PHS educator Rhynhard Janse van Rensburg said the two schools competed in the C-division while PHS’s B and A divisions played against one another. He added that the league kicked-off last week with the second encounter set for this week against Frans du Toit High School in Phalaborwa.
The results of the PHS and Tommies match were unavailable at the time of going to print.
