[PICTURES] Teenagers crash car into Alldays mall wall

A case of reckless and or negligent driving has been opened and police investigations continue.

POLOKWANE – Passersby at the Marula Mall in Alldays were shocked to find a car in the wall of the mall over the weekend.

According to police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe, four teenagers between the ages of 17 and 19-years-old were driving in a Nissan X-Trail SUV when the vehicle allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign.

“The vehicle swerved out of the road and hit stones before crashing into a wall of the mall. The occupants sustained slight injuries and were rushed to the clinic to receive medical treatment,” he explained.

Ngoepe added that the driver disappeared but was later found and had a valid drivers license in his posession.

“A case of reckless and or negligent driving has been opened and police investigations continue,” Ngoepe concluded.
